  • Mathematical and statistical aspects of inverse problems
  • Compartmental analysis and conservation laws
  • Heat transfer
  • Population models
  • Neutron transport models
  • Analytic and numerical solution techniques for PDE
  • Validation and verfication techniques

Grade: Midterm and final exam (Monday, November 16, 12:00-2:30 pm): 40%; Projects (about 6 will be assigned and they can be done in groups of up to 3 students): 60%
