About

The Smart Materials Database was started by Ralph Smith and Billy Oates as a way to share experimental data, models, and code. The hope is to make smart materials more accessible to educators and researchers in academia and industry. For questions or concerns, please contact us.

How to obtain the \(\LaTeX\) source from equations.

The equations on this website are powered by MathJax, a JavaScript display engine for mathematics. In addition to beautifully rendering the equations, the \(\LaTeX\) source code can be copied directly from an equation by right-clicking and selecting Show Source. The display settings can also be adjusted.
